Barnhardt has been with the university since July 1, 1997.

is positioned to evolve into a new and exciting institution,” Barnhardt
said. “While I have had several different jobs during the past 35 years,
being dean of the Larry Selland College has been a
highlight and one of the most fulfilling and rewarding."
After studying architectural drafting at a two-year vocational college,
Barnhardt became a drafting instructor and began his long career in vocational
technical education. He joined Boise State as the first dean of the newly
