Kathleen Kempton has been named executive director of the Boise State University Foundation, the non-profit, independent corporation that serves as the official fund management, fundraising and gift-receiving department for the university, effective Sept. 20.

Concurrent enrollment offers a wide variety of classes, from art to biology, foreign language to political science. Credit from these general academic classes can be applied to any degree a student chooses upon entering college. Boise State University Institute Hosts Play Therapy Conference Sept. 18-19

The Institute for the Study of Addiction at Boise State University will host a play therapy conference Sept. 18-19 titled “Child-Parent Relationship Therapy with Special Populations: A 10-Week Play Therapy Intervention.” Counselors, school counselors, social workers, marriage and family therapists, and other mental health professionals are invited to attend the two-day workshop to learn how to utilize this evidence-based counseling intervention in clinics, schools and private practice settings.
