For the entire month of September, Boise State University’s Campus Recreation is offering a free trial pass to all Boise State University Alumni Association members (with a valid Alumni Association card) and their spouses/partners who are not currently Campus Recreation members.

Concurrent enrollment offers a wide variety of classes, from art to biology, foreign language to political science. Credit from these general academic classes can be applied to any degree a student chooses upon entering college. The credits are also transferable to all Idaho colleges and universities, and most institutions outside of the state.

The team proposed a lunar seed repository that would provide environmental data and organic materials for development of a lunar horticulture unit. The concept weaves with NASA’s vision of a self-sustained, permanent moon base, which would facilitate comprehensive lunar and deep space exploration.

The Institute for the Study of Addiction at Boise State University will host a play therapy conference Sept. 18-19 titled “Child-Parent Relationship Therapy with Special Populations: A 10-Week Play Therapy Intervention.” Counselors, school counselors, social workers, marriage and family therapists, and other mental health professionals are invited to attend the two-day workshop to learn how to utilize this evidence-based counseling intervention in clinics, schools and private practice settings.
