A reception at Boise State University Thursday afternoon honored former Idaho Secretary of State Pete Cenarrusa, who gifted his extensive papers to the university’s Albertsons Library. Cenarrusa’s 52 years of uninterrupted public service to Idaho, beginning with his election to the Idaho House of Representatives in 1950, is a record for the state.

The Japan Club of Boise State University will present Japan Night from 2:30-8:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, in the Student Union Lookout Room. The public is invited to stop by anytime during the celebration, which includes free pizza and drinks. While there is no admission fee, participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the Idaho Foodbank.

Late in the second quarter of the football game against San Jose State Oct. 31, Boise State University scored a key touchdown. The hometown crowd literally shook the ground under Bronco Stadium, and Matt Haney and Andrew Nies have the seismogram to prove it.
