Small Business Development Center, EPA Offer Workshops on
Storm Water Regulations for Construction Industry
The Idaho Small Business Development Center, headquartered at Boise State
University, and the Environmental Protection Agency will host a series of
workshops around the state in February that are designed for the
construction industry. The workshops will provide information on federal
regulation of storm water runoff from construction sites and the regulation
of discharge of dredged or fill material into U.S. waters, including
wetlands, through Section 404 permits.
The workshop schedule is as follows:
— Feb. 1, Nampa, Boise State West campus, 5465 E. Terra Linda Way, 8 a.m.-5
p.m.
— Feb. 7, Lewison, Idaho Fish and Game office, 3316 16th St., 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
— Feb. 27, Idaho Falls, Red Lion on the Falls, 475 River Parkway, 8 a.m.-5
p.m.
— Feb. 28, Pocatello, City Council Chambers, 911 N. 7th Ave, 6-9 p.m.
Registration is $30 per person and is limited to the first 70 participants
for each workshop. The registration deadline is Jan. 25. For more
