Inkom) and Aaron Olson (freshman, Bremerton, Wash.) all placing
within the top ten among more than 160 debaters.
In novice parliamentary debate, Huseynov and Olson were
finalists, taking second overall at the tournament. The team of Charlton
and Kate Henry (sophomore, Coeur d’Alene) finished as
quarter-finalist in junior division debate, and the novice division team of
Adam Siler (freshman, Meridian) and Nick Fowler (senior,
Wendell) also advanced through the final rounds of debate, finishing as
quarter-finalists.
