Boise State University Office of Communications and Marketing Takes Home Two CASE Awards

The Boise State University Office of Communications and Marketing will receive two awards from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education District VIII on Feb. 29.

Boise State will receive a Gold Award for the video “Destination Distinction” in the Fundraising and Alumni Relations category. “Destination Distinction” was produced by the local firm Donahoe Pace and Partners and Frank Zang, the director of the Office of Communications and Marketing.

In addition, Zang and assistant director Bob Evancho will receive a Bronze Award for the theme section of the winter 2007 Focus magazine, which concentrated on the university’s win at the Fiesta Bowl.

The CASE Juried Awards honor the best communications solutions in District VIII, which is the largest district and encompasses Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho, Alaska and the Canadian provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Nunavat, Yukon and the Northwest Territories. The awards reception will be at Portland State University.
