BSU Talkin' Broncos Leave Few Trophies Behind at PKD Regional Championship in Oregon

The Boise State University Talkin’ Broncos were recognized as the top competitors in the region at the Pi Kappa Delta 2008 Tournament of the Great West. Schools from Texas, California, Washington, Idaho and Oregon competed for the regional championship at Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, Ore.

The teams of Ben Larsen (freshman, Raft River) and Alex Dorofeev (senior, Murmansk, Russia); Ben Bishop (junior, Meridian) and Erik Sande (junior, Boise); Kate Henry (sophomore, Coeur d’Alene) and Debra Groberg (freshman, Idaho Falls); and Aaron Olson (freshman, Bremerton, Wash.) and Emil Huseynov (junior, Azerbaijan) also received top awards in Parliamentary Debate.
