12th Annual Spring Plant Sale Set for April 25-26

The 12th annual spring plant sale, sponsored by Boise State University’s horticulture program and the Idaho Botanical Garden, is set for April 25-26.

Thousands of perennials and annuals, trees, shrubs, hanging baskets, native plants and more will be available. Many of the plants have been propagated from existing plants at the Idaho Botanical Garden and grown in Boise State’s greenhouses. Included in the plant selection will be many uncommon and hard-to-find plants that add variety to home landscapes. Boise State horticultural students and garden staff will be on hand to answer questions.

Those attending should bring wheelbarrows or wagons to help tote their plants.

The sale will run from 4-8 p.m. April 25 for Idaho Botanical Garden members only and from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. April 26 for the general public. The sale will be held at the Idaho Botanical Garden, 2355 N. Penitentiary Road, in Boise.
