Attorneys Join Boise State's Office of General Counsel

Two new attorneys have been hired by Boise State University’s Office of
General Counsel.
Donna Aurand has been named associate general counsel. She is primarily
responsible for advising the Research Division of the university and for
assisting the Office of General Counsel in protecting the university’s legal
interests. Aurand comes to Boise State after 12 years at Colorado State
University, where she most recently worked as deputy general counsel and as
an instructor in the College of Applied Human Sciences. She has also worked
in private practice in Fort Collins, Colo., at the firm of Johnson and
Johnson.
Rachael Bickerton has been named director of trademark licensing and
enforcement. Her responsibilities include authorizing the use of the
university’s name and logo and ensuring proper use of the university’s
service marks, trademarks and verbiage. Bickerton comes to Boise State from
SonyBMG Entertainment in London, where she was vice president of commercial
division/legacy recordings. She also has experience at Warner Strategic
Marketing Group/Rhino Entertainment in Los Angeles and BMG Strategic
Marketing Group in New York.
