Bookstore Opens New BroncoShop at Bronco Stadium; Recognizes College Colors Day Aug. 29 with Promotions

Blue and orange are the wardrobe colors of choice for Aug. 29 in celebration of College Colors Day 2008. The Boise State Bookstore is participating in College Colors Day by offering discounts on a variety of apparel at all locations, including its new store on the west side of Bronco Stadium.

A special game day T-shirt is available for only $5. Two polo shirts are available for $20 and two hats for $15. The Bookstore is the source for authentic Bronco apparel, and purchases help support student scholarships. Boise State employees, students, alumni and fans are encouraged to wear the school colors on Aug. 29 as well as for the football home opener against Idaho State University at 6 p.m. on Aug. 30.

College Colors Day is an annual celebration dedicated to promote the traditions and spirit that make the college experience great by encouraging people across America to wear apparel of their favorite college or university. Additionally, College Colors Day, which coincides with “back to school” and the kick-off of intercollegiate athletics, strives to advocate higher education through increased public awareness, and celebrates the achievements of colleges and universities.

The Collegiate Licensing Company, which is the licensing agency for Boise State University, organizes College Colors Day. Boise State is one of the 15 schools featured in a national television spot that is airing this week.

Boise State Bookstore locations include the Student Union Building on the main Boise State campus, the Boise State West campus in Nampa, Bronco Shop at BoDo (778 W. Broad Street), Bronco Shop at Treasure Valley Marketplace in Nampa and Bronco Stadium.
