Boise State Welcomes 42 New Faculty Members

Boise State kicked off a new academic year on Monday with 42 new tenure-track faculty members on board. These new teachers from academic disciplines across the campus join a tradition of excellence in teaching that has produced 11 Carnegie Foundation Idaho Professors of the Year, including communication professor Heidi Reeder, who was named in November 2007.

Some new professors come to campus fresh from Ph.D. programs, while others are attaining permanent status following a stint as a guest lecturer, or entering academia from successful careers in the private sector or other prestigious universities.
