High Country News Brings 'Politics on Planet Idaho' to Boise
State University on
September 18
High Country News will present “Politics on Planet Idaho: The Atmosphere May
Be Turning Green” from 7-9 p.m. Sept. 18 in the Boise State University
Student Union Jordan Ballroom B and C. The event is free and open to the
public. No reservation is necessary.
“Politics on Planet Idaho” will feature a discussion about environment
trends and will include prominent politicians, activists and
conservationists. Moderated by Ray Ring, High Country News’ senior editor,
the talk will also include Cecil Andrus, former Secretary of the Interior
and governor of Idaho; Brad Little, a rancher and current Republican
legislator; Rick Johnson, head of the Idaho Conservation League; Laird
Lucas, head of Advocates for the West; and Idaho Chicana activist Maria
Gonzalez Mabbut.
