Boise State Campus Recreation, Alumni Association Present Alumni Adventure Program in Eugene

Boise State University Campus Recreation and Alumni Association are offering alumni a chance to play a round of golf before watching the Broncos take on the University of Oregon Ducks. The round of golf at the Emerald Valley Golf Club is part of Boise State’s Alumni Adventures program.

Situated on 170 acres, Emerald Valley Golf Club is one of the Willamette Valley’s premier championship public golf courses. Nestled along the Willamette River, it is known for its tree-lined fairways, fast and consistent greens and tournament-quality course conditions.

This Alumni Adventure will begin with a shotgun start at noon, Sept. 19, and will continue with a no-host reception in the clubhouse. Participants may drop off their clubs at the Student Recreation Center on campus starting Sept. 15 so that the clubs can be transported from Boise to the golf course. Participants who are arriving from Seattle or other areas outside of Boise may arrange to have their clubs picked up at the team’s hotel and sent to the course.

The Alumni Association also will host a viewing party at the team hotel. For more information about the viewing party, contact the Alumni Association at (208) 426-1698.

The Eugene Alumni Adventure is $89, which includes transportation of clubs from Boise to the course, range balls, cart, a box lunch and prizes. Pre-registration is required by logging onto http://rec.boisestate.edu/alumniadventures/Eugene. For more information, call John Lloyd at (208) 426-5651.
