Boise State University Department of Theatre Arts Announces
its 2008-2009 Season
The Boise State University Theatre Arts season will begin with Will Eno’s
comedy “Tragedy: A Tragedy” on Oct. 2.
“Tragedy: A Tragedy” is one of four productions during the 2008-2009 season
featuring the acting, costume and set design skills of Boise State’s Theatre
Arts majors. All of this year’s performances will take place in the Morrison
Center Danny Peterson Theatre, formerly known as Stage II.
• “Tragedy: A Tragedy.” 7:30 p.m. Oct. 2-4, 8-11; 2 p.m. Oct. 5 and 12.
• “A Dream Play” by August Strindberg, adapted by Caryl Churchill. 7:30 p.m.
Nov. 13-15; 2 p.m. Nov. 16 and 23.
• “Pippin,” music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz. 7:30 p.m. March 5-7; 2
p.m. March 8.
• “The School for Wives” by Moliére. 7:30 p.m. April 16-18, 22-25; 2 p.m.
April 20 and 26.
Tickets for “Tragedy: A Tragedy,” “A Dream Play” and “The School for Wives”
are $15 general and $12 for students who do not attend Boise State, Boise
State alumni and seniors. All tickets are $9 each when purchased in groups
of 10 or more. Tickets for “Pippin” are $18 general and $15 for students who
do not attend Boise State, Boise State alumni and seniors. Tickets for
“Pippin” are $12 when purchased in groups of 10 or more. Full-time Boise
State students, faculty and staff receive one free ticket by visiting the
Student Union Info Desk.
