Idaho Small Business Development Center Names Sewell 'State Star'

The Idaho Small Business Development Center’s Katie Sewell has been selected as the organization’s 2008 State Star. Sewell is deputy director for the Idaho SBDC that is located on the Boise State University campus in Boise.

“I am pleased to make this announcement and to recognize Katie for extraordinary contributions to the work of the Idaho SBDC and small business in Idaho,” said Jim Hogge, Idaho SBDC director.

She was chosen by Hogge for being an exemplary performer, making a significant contribution to the State SBDC program, and showing a strong commitment to small business in the state.

“It is an honor to accept this award and to have the opportunity to help our regional centers in their goals of helping so many people achieve the dream of starting and succeeding in their own business,” said Sewell.
