Boise State College of Business and Economics Offers New MBA Upgrade Program

The Boise State University College of Business and Economics will offer a new program on Nov. 8-9 to help MBA degree-holders brush up their skills.

The intensive two-day, four-session course will help participants expand their knowledge in the areas of financial management, leadership and teamwork, financial modeling for decision making and tapping the internet for market information.

Boise State's MBA Upgrade program is the only one of its kind in the Northwest.

"A person who earned an MBA some time ago may not be up on the latest trends and issues in business," said Kirk Smith, director of graduate education on the College of Business and Economics. "This program is designed to help them stay ahead of the competition."

The program will run from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 8-9 in the Student Union Building on the Boise State campus. The cost is $795 for Boise State alums and $895 for non-Boise State alums. The fee covers all materials, a completion certificate, a networking luncheon and refreshment breaks. The cost is $295 for an individual MBA Upgrade session.
