Idaho Small Business Development Center, Department of Labor
Offer Business Training Sessions Statewide
The Idaho Small Business Development Center and The Idaho Department of
Labor are teaming up to better serve the needs of entrepreneurs and small
businesses in rural Idaho communities.
Together they will deliver core business training sessions in 15 Department
of Labor offices, or to individuals who prefer to view from their home or
office computers, using Webinar Training Technology and GoToMeeting online
resources. The training sessions have been developed and will be delivered
online by consultants and professionals from the six Small Business
Development Center offices.
Training is being offered from noon-1:30 p.m. Mountain time every Thursday
at a cost of $15 per participant per session. The participating Labor
offices are located in Bonners Ferry, Sandpoint, Kellogg, St. Maries,
Moscow, Orofino, McCall, Payette, Emmett, Hailey, Burley, Soda Springs,
Blackfoot, Rexburg and Salmon.
The training sessions will cover a variety of topics including starting a
business, business planning, understanding the generation gap in today’s
workplace, internet marketing, controlling waste in a business, and
surviving in a down economy.
