Boise State Center Presents Resolving Workplace Conflicts and Negotiation Strategies for Results Workshops

Do conflicts in your office eat up your time and reduce your effectiveness? Do you need to negotiate more skillfully to keep your customers and sustain your profits?

Boise State University’s Center for Professional Development will offer practical tools and tactics that are proven to address these challenges during two half-day workshops on November 5.

Resolving Workplace Conflicts will be held from 8:30 a.m.-noon. Determine the causes of workplace conflict and approaches for resolution.

Negotiation Strategies for Results will be held from 1-4:30 p.m. Prepare to flex between competitive and collaborative negotiation approaches.

Expert facilitation will be provided by Suzanne McCorkle, director of Boise State’s Office of Conflict Management Services and the Conflict Resolution Certificate Program. McCorkle will bring insights gained from consulting with companies such as Micron and JR Simplot Co. and public agencies such as the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare and the Idaho Department of Commerce.

Participants can register for each workshop separately for $179 or take both for $299 and save $59.
