News Release EVENT NEWS / October 29, 2008 Boise State University Department of Art Presents 'Contour Lives,' a New BFA Thesis Exhibition “Contour Lives,” a thesis exhibition organized by Department of Art students seeking their bachelor of fine arts degrees, will be in the Visual Arts Center Gallery 2 from Nov. 7-Dec. 9. An opening reception will be held from 6-8 p.m. Nov. 7 in Gallery 2, which is located in the Hemingway Western Studies Center. The exhibition will be open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday and from noon-4 p.m. Saturday. The gallery is closed on Sundays and university holidays. The reception and exhibition are free and open to the public. “Contour Lives” features works by seniors who will graduate in December. The show includes a variety of artists’ representation of life, from the dream state to the quiet beauty of living day-to-day. Contributing artists include Kelly Beach, Mark W. Carpineta, Jackie Elo, Denise Lauerman, Kim Leenhouts, Carissa Parkhurst, Casey Pound and Trina Smith.
