Boise State Radio's Kathe Alters Elected to PRADO Board
BOISE – Kathe Alters, underwriting sales manager for Boise State Radio, has
been elected to the Public Radio Association of Development Officers (PRADO)
board of directors. Alters has been with Boise State Radio since 2000 and
was promoted to sales manager in 2007.
PRADO is a membership organization that provides a supportive environment
for public radio development professionals. Through PRADO activities,
newcomers are welcomed and oriented to public radio, and members are
recognized for their achievements, provided with mentoring and idea sharing
opportunities, and have ongoing peer-to-peer communication with colleagues.
Board members are chosen by the membership to serve three-year terms.

For the 10th time in the last 11 years, Boise State University has set an
all-time record for Idaho higher education institutions with an enrollment
of 19,540 – an overall increase of 3.5 percent. A record freshman class of
2,280 students is also the most academically talented group ever to enter
Boise State, including 12 National Merit finalists.
