News Release EVENT NEWS / December 3, 2008 Take the Whole Family to Boise State University's 'Holidays Around the World' Seasonal Celebration Learn about holidays from different cultures and countries during “Holidays Around the World,” 5-8 p.m. Dec. 13 at the Student Union Jordan Ballroom. Admission is free, but food tickets are $1 each. All profits go to the student organizations that host the event. Free parking will be available in the parking structure on the corner of Lincoln Avenue and University Drive. The “Holidays Around the World” celebration features music, games and entertainment from around the world. This annual event is put on by a number of Boise State student cultural organizations, including BARCADA, the Black Student Alliance, Hui-O-Aloha, the Intertribal Native Council, the Japan Club, M.E.C.H.A. and the Vietnamese Student Association. The groups will collect clothes for women and children at the door to benefit the Casa Elvira Arrellenos Refuge House.
