BOISE STATE MARKETING PROFESSOR APPOINTED JOURNAL EDITOR

Doug Lincoln, Boise State University marketing professor, has been appointed editor of the Journal of Marketing Education. The journal is considered to be the top marketing education publication among business educators, publishing three issues a year, with a special issue about once every 18 months.

As editor, Lincoln is charged with the process of receiving manuscripts, facilitating a double blind review process using the input of marketing education professionals around the world, making acceptance or rejection decisions and communicating those decisions back to the authors.

He will also design and implement changes in the review process in order to more fully utilize the capabilities of Web-based technology.

Dr. Lincoln is past president (1989-90) of the national Marketing Educators� Association. The association sponsors the Journal of Marketing Education, which is published by Sage Publications.
