BOISE STATE CHORAL FESTIVAL FEATURES WORKSHOPS AND CONCERT
The 16th annual Boise State University Invitational Choral Festival for high school choirs will culminate with a concert at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 3, in the Morrison Center Main Hall. The concert will feature select high school choirs and the Boise State University Meistersingers and Chamber Singers, both directed by Boise State professor Giselle Wyers.
The all-day choral festival will feature guest clinician Geoffrey Boers of University of Washington. High school choirs from around Idaho will participate in workshops on vocal techniques, musical interpretation and choral techniques.
The choral festival is sponsored by the Boise State music department. Admission for the evening concert is $5 general, $3 seniors and free to students and Boise State faculty and staff. For information, call 426-3980 or 426-2400.
