KINESIOLOGY PROF DISCUSSES LIFE SKILLS AND SPORTS AT FREE LECTURE
Boise State University kinesiology professor Linda Petlichkoff will discuss teaching life skills through sport at a free lecture at 7-8:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 26, in Room E-112 of the Education building at Boise State.
Petlichkoff, director of the Center of Physical Activity and Sport, will discuss how the First Tee Chapters and the National Football Foundation/National Football Leagueu’s Coaching Academy have developed and incorporated a curriculum that emphasizes both the acquisition and transferability of life skills through sport. The free lecture is sponsored by Boise State’s Center for School Improvement and the College of Education. A reception will follow. Call 426-4353 for more information.
