PANEL TO DISCUSS IDAHO WATER ISSUES AT BOISE STATE UNIVERSITY
A panel discussion titled "Idaho’s Water: Water Rights and Water Wrongs" will be presented at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, in the Boise State Student Union Jordan Ballroom D. The 2001 Jordan Symposium is sponsored by the Len B. and Grace Jordan Endowment for Economic Studies and the Boise State department of economics. The event is free and open to the public. Panelists include:
 | Joseph L. Jordan, chairman of the Idaho Water Resources Board. Jordan is a civil engineer with 35 years experience in design and construction of water resource projects, including the Brownlee and Dworshak dams.
 | Karl J. Dreher, director of the Idaho Department of Water Resources. Dreher has developed and managed water resources for more than 25 years and been involved in all aspects of water management. He has also worked as a consultant to a number of public and private organizations.
 | David R. Tuthill Jr., chief of the Adjudication Bureau of the Idaho Department of Water Resources. Dreher has more than 25 years experience with water rights and water distribution within Idaho, including the Snake River Basin Adjudication, consisting of more than 170,000 claims. | | |
