ART EXHIBITION BY BOISE STATE FACULTY OPENS JANUARY 26

An exhibition of works by Boise State University art department faculty will open with a reception from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, at the Boise State Visual Arts Center galleries, located in the Liberal Arts Building and the Hemingway Center. The reception is free and open to the public.

On display will be approximately 100 works, representing diverse approaches to art-making by 27 full- and part-time faculty.

On Thursday, Feb. 1, at 7 p.m., some of the artists will present short programs on the ideas, materials and techniques in their respective works of art.

The exhibition will continue through Feb. 16. Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. daily and noon-5 p.m. Saturday. For information, call 426-3994.
