BOISE STATE PSYCHOLOGY PROFESSOR TO APPEAR ON DISCOVERY CHANNEL Charles Honts, chair of the psychology department at Boise State University, will be featured Wednesday, Jan. 31, in the premiere episode of a new weekly program on the Discovery Channel. "Deadline Discovery" takes the viewer on a weekly exploration of their world from scientific breakthroughs to current societal trends. The show focuses on the people who shape the stories, and provides behind-the-scenes insights. Honts will be discussing polygraph (lie detector) testing in a segment filmed at the Boise State University campus. Honts is known nationally for his expertise in polygraph test administration and admissibility in legal cases. In addition, Honts offers consulting on child witness credibility and statement validity assessment. Honts can be seen on "Deadline Discovery" at 8 p.m. and midnight on the Discovery Channel (AT&T Channel 3 in Boise, Nampa, Caldwell and Meridian). Contact:
