BOISE STATE CLASSIC PERFORMANCE SERIES PRESENTS JACQUES THIBAUD TRIO
The Jacques Thibaud String Trio, whose musicians play completely by heart, will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, in the Special Events Center in the Student Union. The concert is part of the Boise State Student Union Classic Performances Series.
Prize-winners in the prestigious Bonn Chamber Music Competition in 1999, the Jacques Thibaud String Trio has performed throughout Europe, Japan and the United States and has received acclaim from audiences and critics. The trio was founded at the Berlin School of Art in 1994. Their technique of playing by heart is nearly unique among contemporary chamber ensembles.
The Student Union Classic Performances Series is presented by Boise State Student Union and Activities. The series is designed for and by students to bring eclectic, contemporary and affordable performances to campus.
Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for students, seniors, and Boise State faculty, staff and alumni. Tickets are available at Select-a-Seat locations, online at www.idahotickets.com and at 426-1766.
