FORMER BOISE STATE BOWLERS WIN STATE HI 5 TOURNAMENT

Five former Boise State University bowling team members, who comprise the Boise Hi 5 team, won first place at the Idaho State Women’s Bowling Association state tournament held March 3-10 at 20th Century Lanes in Boise.

Each year local women’s bowling associations around the state select a Hi 5 team consisting of the five women with the five highest averages in their local associations. Those teams bowl in the Hi 5 tournament held during the Idaho State Women’s Bowling Association state tournament.

All of the current Boise Hi 5 members carry averages over 200. Team members and the last year they bowled for Boise State are: Brandi Hostetler, 1994; Gwynne Lethcoe, 1989; Mary Harvey, 1979; Connie Haycock, 1985; and Jackie Thomas, 1985.
