BOISE STATE PROGRAM CAN HELP WOMEN ADVANCE
The Larry G. Selland College of Applied Technology at Boise State University is offering free orientation sessions for its Women in Technology program.
This program is designed to help homemakers, single mothers, pregnant women and others who want to find new better-paying jobs and improved career opportunities.
In the orientation sessions, participants will learn what training options are available, how to become a successful student, computer basics, potential financial aid resources and more. In addition, students will participate in business and industry tours to see the real world of employment opportunities they may find after completing the program.
The orientation sessions are free and will be held in Boise on Tuesday, March 13, from 5-6 p.m. and Friday, March 16, from 10-11 a.m. Nampa sessions will be held on Monday, March 12, from 5-6 p.m. and Tuesday, March 13, from 10-11 a.m.
