BOISE STATE WOMEN’S
CENTER SEEKS NOMINATIONS
As
part of Boise State University’s celebration of Women’s History Month in
March 2003, the Women’s Center would like to honor women in the community who
have made a difference.
The center is seeking nominations of ordinary
Idaho women who are living extraordinary lives and making a difference
in their communities. These women will be featured in a special publication to
be distributed throughout Boise. Twenty-five women will be honored.
Since selection of nominees is based solely on
information provided in the application, nominations should be thorough and must
include:
 | The name and phone number of the nominee as
well as the person making the nomination. |
 | A description of what the nominee is doing in
her life. |
 | A detailed story demonstrating how she is
making a difference in the lives of others, including what happened, how she
responded and specifics on what she said and did. |
 | Her greatest achievements and personal
qualities. |
 | A quote that sums up her attitude, and why you
think it best represents her. |
 | Your address, relationship to the nominee and
whether or not you wish to remain anonymous. The nominee will be contacted
for further information and permission to include her in the publication. |
Nomination forms are available at the Women’s
Center in the Student Union Annex, or by clicking
here or by calling 426-4259. Send nominations to:
The Boise State University Women’s Center
1910 University Drive, Boise, ID 83725-1335.
Nominations must be received by 5 p.m. Sept. 27.
