Here’s what to expect when "extraordinist"
Craig Karges blends mystery, humor, psychology and intuition in a performance at
7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, in the Special Events Center. A table will
"walk" onstage then fly into the air. Borrowed finger rings from
audience members will link together in a chain. Thoughts will be read and
predictions will be made and verified.
Karges’ performance is presented by the Boise
State Student Programs Board as part of its Fall Funk celebration. Admission at
the door is $5 for the general public and free to Boise State students, faculty
and staff.
Karges dramatizes the unknown, the unexplained
and the unbelievable. From the entertainment-oriented "Tonight Show with
Jay Leno" to the news-oriented "Larry King Live," Karges has made
frequent guest appearances on numerous national television shows and starred in
his own one-hour television special, "Experience the Extraordinary!"
Karges has made more than 3,000 appearances on
three continents and in all 50 states. He was named Entertainer of the Year six
times by the National Association for Campus Activities and three times by
Campus Activities magazine. He also leads empowerment workshops called "The
Intuitive Edge" and has worked with corporations such as IBM, McDonald’s,
General Motors and General Electric.
