BOISE STATE WOMEN’S CENTER HOSTS COMMUNICATION WORKSHOP

The Boise State University Women’s Center is hosting a workshop on nonviolent communication from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, in the Student Union Bishop Barnwell Room. Participants are asked to bring a sack lunch.

The workshop, led by marriage and family therapist Marti Monroe, will focus on effective techniques for speaking and listening that can help resolve differences peacefully. The goal is to enhance relationships with yourself, your family and the outside world. Various aspects of development, learning, health and safety are taken into account.

The workshop is open to community members as well as Boise State students, faculty and staff. Cost is $35,; that fee will be waived for the first 10 people to sign up. Call 426-4259 to register.
