Arun Raha, a senior corporate economist at Eaton
Corporation, will speak at 7 p.m. Thursday, October 10, in the Boise State
University Jordan Ballrooms B and C. The title of Dr. Raha’s lecture will be:
"U.S. Economic Outlook —Where is the Recovery Headed?" Eaton
Corporation is a Cleveland based global manufacturer of highly engineered
products for aerospace, automotive, electrical power distribution, hydraulics
and truck markets, with $8 billion in 2000 sales.
Raha a former Boise State University economics
professor, is on the prestigious Wall Street Journal’s Economics Forecasting
Panel and his economic forecasts are included in both Blue Chip and Consensus
International forecasts. Arun Raha speaks frequently before business and
academic audiences, and he has written extensively in proprietary publications.
Prior to joining Eaton in January 2000, Arun Raha was the director of the Asia
Service at the world’s leading economic and information consulting firm, WEFA
Incorporated.
