FREE WORKSHOPS HELP CHILDREN BECOME "FINANCIALLY FIT"

Are your children financially fit? Several recent studies suggest that American youth need a financial workout. The Boise State University Center for School Improvement and Policy Studies, in partnership with the National Council on Economic Education and the Bank of America Foundation, invites parents of K-12 students to attend "Financial Fitness for Life" at 7- 8:30 p.m. Oct. 17 in the Community Room of the Eagle Public Library, 100 N. Stierman Way, Eagle, or 7- 8:30 p.m. Oct. 24 in the Hays Auditorium of the Boise Public Library, 715 S. Capitol Blvd.

Learn how to teach your children about earning an income, spending, saving and investing, using credit, managing money, and problem-solving and decision-making. Financial fitness early in life provides a foundation that can prevent poor financial decisions that often take years to overcome. There is no cost for the workshop and materials will be provided to the first 30 participants. Call 426-4353 to register or for more information.
