In conjunction with the International Day of Singing, all six Boise State University choirs will perform at a concert titled "With a Voice of Singing" at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, at the Morrison Center Main Hall. Admission at the door is $5 adults, $3 seniors and free to students and Boise State faculty and staff.

On the International Day of Singing, sponsored by the International Federation of Choral Music, choirs from all over the world will join in singing to promote connectedness among all cultures.

Repertoire to be performed will include Joseph Haydn’s "Kleine Orgelmesse," sung by the University Singers, Richard Rodgers tunes sung by Vocal Jazz, in celebration of the 100 year anniversary of the birth of Richard Rodgers, and Italian madrigals from the Renaissance, sung in the lobby by Chamber Singers prior to the beginning of the concert.

The Men’s Chorus will perform "Brothers, Sing On" by Edvard Grieg, "With a Voice of Singing" by Martin Shaw, "La Pastorella" by Franz Schubert and the Quaker hymn "How Can I Keep From Singing." The Meistersingers and Women’s Chorale will also perform.
