"Great Composers of Our Time" is the
theme of the Boise State University Symphonic Winds concert at 4 p.m. on Nov. 17
at the Morrison Center Main Hall.
The program will include the "Song for
Band" by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer William Bolcom, "Symphony No.
6" by Vincent Persichetti and the regional premier of "Internal
Combustion," a new work by David Gillingham that celebrates the automobile.
Boise State music professor Marcellus Brown is
the music director and conductor of the Symphonic Winds.
Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and
free to students of all ages and Boise State faculty and staff. For more
