‘THE HUMAN PROJECT’ ART EXHIBITION AT BOISE STATE RUNS NOV. 15-DEC. 11

"The Human Project," a senior theses exhibition by Boise State University students, opens Nov. 15 and runs through Dec. 11 in the Boise State Visual Arts Center galleries, located in the Liberal Arts Building and the Hemingway Center. The exhibition includes work by 18 students in a variety of media with many students combining media. Styles of work range from representational to abstract.

An opening reception featuring musical entertainment and refreshments will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, in both galleries. The opening reception is free and there will be free parking in the Liberal Arts lot in front of the Hemingway Center that evening only. On other days, visitors are advised to park in the Student Union visitor parking lot or the visitor lot in front of the Administration Building on University Drive. Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon-5 p.m. Saturday. There is no charge for admission.

This exhibition is the culminating activity for students earning bachelor of fine arts degrees. Students exhibiting works are: Cody Brown, Jana Bruno, Michael R. Bryant, Leslie Frederiksen, Danielle Gamache, Sabrina Harris, Brooke Hastings, David Hayes, Jesus Madera, Shauntae Piva, Mandy Riley, Adrianne Shurtleff, Darcy Sletager, Stanislaw Smith, Laura Soper, Jess Stanley, Michelle Stimak and Jason Warmack.
