Expect choreography that reflects the complexities of
relationships between men and women by Boise State University dance students at
"Boys ‘n Babeland," Dec. 13-14 at the Morrison Center Stage II.
Performance times are 7:30 p.m. Dec. 13-14 and a 2 p.m. matinee on Dec. 14.
The dance concerts are presented by students in the Boise
State theatre arts department dance program, directed by Marla Hansen. Students
will present Hansen’s new piece, "Bend Over Barbie," which is a
humorous look at women’s stereotypes, performed to music by the Balanescu
Quartet. Other pieces in this performance include a dramatic solo danced en
pointe to the music of Alanis Morissette and hot numbers to the music of
Santana and the Squirrel Nut Zippers. Admission at the door is $5 for adults and
