Two Boise State University professors will direct a free
discussion and presentation on the life and work of noted Mexican artist Frida
Kahlo following a Dec. 7 screening of the film "Frida" at The Flicks.
The event follows the 12:30 p.m. matinee showing. The Flicks Theatre is at 646
Fulton St. in Boise. Cost for the matinee is $5.
Boise State’s Alicia Garza, modern languages, and Alma
Gomez, art, will examine the artistic and personal passion that defined the
artist, as well as her major work.
