GUEST VIOLIST TO PERFORM DEC. 19 AT BOISE STATE UNIVERSITY

Guest violist Aeja Killworth will present a program of works from the Baroque, Romantic and 20th century eras at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, at the Morrison Center Recital Hall. Admission at the door is $5 adults, $3 seniors and free to students of all ages and to Boise State University faculty and staff.

Killworth will be accompanied by Peggy Ford Purdy on piano. The program will include "Suite No. 2 in D minor" by J.S. Bach, "Concerto for Viola and Orchestra" by William Walton and "Suite No. 1 in G minor" by Max Reger.

Killworth is currently completing a master of music degree in viola performance at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Md., where she is studying with Richard L. Field. Killworth holds a bachelor of music degree in viola performance from Boise State in 2001, where she studied with Craig Purdy and Linda Kline Lamar.
