Violinist and Boise State University music professor Craig
Purdy will present a recital covering a variety of style periods and composers
whose works use the form of theme and variations. This Boise State Faculty
Artist Series recital will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, in the Morrison
Center Recital Hall. Admission at the door is $5 adults, $3 seniors and free to
students of all ages and Boise State faculty and staff.
Featured composers will be Mozart, Handel, Biber,
Hindemith and Paganini. Joining Purdy will be violist and Boise State music
professor Linda Kline Lamar and pianist Peggy Jo Purdy.
