Faculty Brass Quintet and Tuba and Brass Ensembles will Perform

The Boise State University Faculty Brass Quintet will perform contemporary works by Eugene Bozza, Harold Arland and Duke Ellington at a concert at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 5, in the Morrison Center Recital Hall. Admission is $5 adults, $3 seniors and free to students of all ages and Boise State faculty and staff.

The Faculty Brass Quintet is comprised of music professors David Saunders, horn; Marcellus Brown, trumpet; Brad Peters, trumpet; David Mathie, trombone; and Michael Fischer, tuba. In addition, the Tuba Ensemble will perform one piece and faculty and students will perform large brass choir arrangements of Renaissance music by Andrea and Giovanni Gabrieli, Giovanni Bassano and Thomas Morley.

The concert is presented by the Boise State music department. For more information call 426-3980.
