Boise State recognizes volunteers for their service to community

Volunteers at Boise State University will be honored for their dedication to helping improve the community at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 17 at the Lookout Room in the Student Union.

“The ceremony is held every spring and is designed to recognize students, faculty and organizations that have shown exceptional volunteerism over the past year,” said Ryan VanderLinden, Boise State student and director of Volunteer Services Board. About 30 people have been nominated this year. Three of the nominees will receive awards during the evening.
