Registration for Boise State Youth Programs Starts April 27

A variety of sports activities ranging from gymnastics to tennis are available to area youngsters ages 7-14 during the two three-week sessions of the 2002 Summer Youth Sports Programs at Boise State University.

Open registration will begin on April 27 from 7:30-11:30 a.m. in Room 215 of the Kinesiology Building (Old Gym). Registration will continue in Room 209 of the Kinesiology Building Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. beginning April 29.

The first session runs weekdays June 10-28; the second session runs weekdays July 8-26. Registration may be for one or more periods and for one or more activities. Payment, which ranges from $40-$50 per session, is required at the time of registration. The fee is per activity/per child on a space available basis. The child’s birth date, address, and a parent’s Social Security number and signature are required.

Activities include basketball, bowling, computer skills, gymnastics, karate, pocket billiards, racquetball, rock climbing, soccer, swimming, tennis and weight training.
