HELP BEAUTIFY BOISE’S FOOTHILLS SATURDAY, MARCH 2
Community member are invited to help Boise State University Volunteer Services Board beautify Boise’s foothills. Meet at 8 a.m. Saturday, March 2 at the MK Nature Center, 600 S. Walnut St.
Volunteers will plant bitterbrush seeds in the foothills. “The seeds are used to prevent erosion as well as to feed deer and elk during the winter months,” said Joseph Scofield, Environmental Coordinator for Boise State Volunteer Services Board. Participants should wear hiking boots, gloves and warm clothes.
