BOISE STATE STUDENTS UNITE TO EDUCATE COMMUNITY ABOUT IDAHO FORESTRY

Community members are invited to attend a multimedia workshop, “Resistance: A History of Environmentalism and Direct Action in Idaho Forestry,” at 8 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 at the Farnsworth Room in the Boise State University Student. The workshop is being facilitated by Redge Peterson of Wild Rockies and Earth First and will cover topics such as fire ecology, forest restoration, the Bitterroot National Forest and the timber sale industry from an environmental activisism perspective.

The event is free and is co-sponsored by Boise State Student Programs Board and Idaho Progressive Student Alliance. Please call 426-1223 for more information.
