DAVID SAUNDERS PERFORMS AT BOISE STATE FACULTY ARTIST SERIES

David Saunders, professor of horn at Boise State University, will perform with other musicians at a concert at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10, in the Morrison Center Recital Hall. The Faculty Artist Series is presented by the Boise State music department. Admission at the door is $5 general, $3 seniors and free to students and Boise State faculty and staff.

The program will include Mozart’s "Concerto No. 4" for horn with string quartet; "En Foret" for horn and piano, by Eugene Bozza; and the "Trio for Violin, Horn and Piano" by Brahms. Performing with Saunders will be James Cook, piano, Phyllis Saunders, violin, Katherine Currie, violin, Allyson Wuenschel, viola and Wallis Bratt, cello.

Saunders has performed with the Cleveland Orchestra, the New York City Opera, the St. Louis Symphony and as principal horn with the Cleveland Opera, the Cleveland Ballet and the Ohio Chamber Orchestra. He has spent the past 10 summers in New Hampshire as principal horn with the New Hampshire Music Festival.
