February 14, 2002 DEADLINE FOR SINGLE PARENT SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION EXTENDED The College of Social Sciences and Public Affairs at Boise State University has extended the deadline for receipt of applications for the Single Parent Scholarship to March 15. This will align with the deadline established by the Financial Aid Office for departmental scholarships. The Single Parent Scholarship is awarded annually to a Boise State sophomore, junior or senior pursuing a major in the College of Social Sciences and Public Affairs. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 and also be a single parent/head of household as determined by the Internal Revenue Service.
