BOISE STATE ART FACULTY PRESENT TECHNIQUES AND ART AT EXHIBITION
Several Boise State University art professors will present short programs about the ideas, materials and techniques they used to create paintings, sculptures, photographs and other media at 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 7, at the Boise State Visual Arts Center galleries. The faculty presentations are part of the university’s annual Faculty Art Exhibition, which includes about 50 works by 20 full-time and part-time faculty and runs through Feb. 15.
Faculty making presentations include Gary Rosine, painting; Stephanie Bacon, painting; John Taye, sculpture; and John Francis, graphic design. The program is free, as is admission to the galleries. The galleries are open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays and noon-5 p.m. Saturday. Gallery 1 is located in the Liberal Arts building at 1874 University Drive and Gallery 2 is in the Hemingway Center at 1819 University Drive.
